Social Media

A company will typically use social media for a few reasons:

  • To attract and engage new prospects.
  • To turn followers into buyers.
  • To service current customers.

As a Social Media Writer, I can do several different jobs, including some or all of the following:

  • Create the initial social pages.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the communities.
  • Write messages and updates.
  • Write advertisements to build followers and increase engagements.
  • Lead discussions.
  • Turn engagements into content.

Social media is a very demanding avenue, but it also has great benefits. Facebook alone has around 1.5 billion users, and if you tally in the users of all the other sites (Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google+) we’re talking the biggest audience you’re ever going to get. Every post that’s out there with your name on it has the potential to be shared numerous times, and the more it’s shared, the wider your presence is felt. I will be available to make sure your posts are clear, concise and free of spelling and grammatical errors. I put special emphasis on the monetary value of a short post, making sure to use the most effective speech to save space and valuable attention time.

On top of the above, since I would be talking to your audience on a most-likely daily basis, I’ll learn their biggest fears, what makes them excited, and what they need most from you. With that knowledge, I can easily branch out of social media and into other avenues such as Copywriting, B2B and Web Writing as well. As the client, you’re in charge of where our partnership goes.

This area is a perfect opportunity to hire someone such as myself on retainer. If I work on retainer you have almost unlimited access to me for the duration of our contract, and I will always go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. If you’re just looking for a one-time job, I’m happy to put in the same effort. As time goes on and you see the effectiveness of my campaigns, you will also have the opportunity to hire me for a couple more one-offs before you commit to a retainer. There’s no limit, and your satisfaction is the most important piece of the partnership.
